The College of Engineering Bioscience (CEB, former College of Biological Science & Technology) at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) functions as one entity and is composed of Department of Biological Science and Technology (DBT), Institute of Molecular Medicine and Bioengineering (IMB), as well as Institute of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (IBS). CEB aims to address the current global challenges and construct a healthy, affordable, and sustainable society through the concepts and approaches of engineering bioscience: linking biotechnology, ICT, and computational biology from the molecular level to study fields such as precision medicine, translational engineering, and sustainable technology. CEB is the pioneer in NYCU at the interface of biology-chemistry, -physics, and -engineering. As such, CEB has numerous outstanding achievements in fields of bioelectronics and biosensing, bioinformatics, biomaterials, tissue engineering, microbial engineering, synthetic biology, structural biology, and neurotechnology.

Application requirements:
Applicant should share a similar vision and goal as CEB and has an outstanding record in cutting edge research and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidates we are looking for should have a research expertise in (alphabetic order) bio-big data & AI, bioelectronics and biosensing, biomaterials, cell therapy, computational biology, computational chemistry, metabolomics, microbiome, molecular imaging, organoid and tissue engineering, smart medicine, structural biology, sustainable technology, synthetic biology, or any other related disciplines.
In addition, successful candidates will be required to teach courses in English for the first three years of her or his appointment.
